I had never eaten here before. I placed an order and when I got it, something didn't taste right. I spoke to a lady named Kelly, and she was amazing. In a day and age when customer service is hard to come by, Kelly set the bar high. She apologized profusely and immediately addressed it. That was enough for me, but then the cook personally apologized too. These two employees have made me a loyal customer. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone can do what they did. By the way, the remake was the absolute best in town. Thank you and I will be back.

Food was really good, so good that we ate there twice in two days. Also the wait staff were all extremely friendly and service was great.

Had breakfast early this week and ordered three eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. It was ok although I did not really care for the hash browns. The bacon was undercooked. The eggs were silky smooth and done to my liking. The wait staff was helpful and on point. Good job.

Lots of choices for breakfast, big portions and friendly service. We had pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, bacon and hash browns. More than we could eat. Just across from where we were staying, so very convenient and very cheap compared to the hotel.

Enjoyed their coney dogs and fries and take out service was excellent. Returned next morning for a delicious breakfast. I has the broccoli and cheese omelet and my hubby had the homemade hash with eggs. Everything was very good and plenty of it. Waitresses were all very attentive and we never ran out of coffee. Definitely will return if in the area. Would really love to try more of their diverse menu!!!

Well, I was not impressed. I always want my coneys and diners to be like Nello's. L. Georges is definitely more coney than diner, and is a bit rough around the edges. I didn't really find my veggie sandwich satisfying. So maybe this place is not a vegetarian's paradise, but this should be self-evident. I give 3 stars, because a very good friend of mine eats here every day for breakfast. Every day. Bacon and eggs, etc. And he swears by it. They know his order, and treat him well. He swears by L. George's. It is like his Nello's. So, if you are looking for your diner, perhaps this will do the trick.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. My husband and I were seated immediately. Standard coney menu. The food was actually very good. The portions are huge for the price! The only draw back for us was that there isn't a "healthier options" portion to the menu really. Would love for them to add wheat pancakes or French toast. Or a build your own omelette. Still we both left full and not disappointed.

Another visit another great breakfast!! This is now our favorite breakfast travel spot! It deserves 5 outta 5 when service , quality of food and cost is factored in.

We come here every now and then and they have pretty decent breakfast selection. I particularly like their omelets. I ordered a veggie omelet with spinach and they cooked it well, it was very good. I also had hash browns which was really good. I guess I was hungry, I had a bagel on top of that which was OK but seemed like store-bought bagels. The service is usually OK but it was awful on this occasion: 1) Only one menu was at the table and we had to point it out to the waitress that we needed extra menus. 2) Only one set of forks/knives was at the table, again we had to point it out even though it should have been pretty apparent. 3) After we got all our food we also got the check and apparently the waitress meant sayonara after that. She would not come by the table one single time again after that. We had a good 15 minutes at least and needed drink refills but it was not possible to get her attention. I tried to get attention from another waitress to get at least a coffee refill since she was going around with the coffee but no luck. There was another waitress that stood at one table for over 15 minutes. She could have been on her break but it doesn't look like service is a priority any longer. We left this place quite frustrated so it will probably be a while before we come back, I hope they have better focus on at least a decent service level. I'm not asking for much. We did tell the cashier about our service experience and she did say she would talk to the waitress so I hope they get it worked out better soon.

Excellent coneys, fast service, friendly staff! I love going here and smashing four coneys for lunch. I haven't had anything else on the menu but it all looks good coming out of tw kitchen.

They have some of the best pancakes I have ever eaten, and I am always in search of a place that serves good pancakes! Soooo good! And the food came really, really fast.

I miss the old owners. Some of the Ladies that work there are so rude and she annoyed because they cant understand YOUR English. Food was better before too,

The service here is extra sweet and really speedy. The food is your typical Coney Island food ... breakfast, greek food, american, coney dogs etc. Not my favorite Coney in terms of style or taste but definitely the best service I've ever had at one!!

Could take it or leave it. I had a bacon cheese burger it was Ok to good. The fries were a frowny face. Probably won't be back. My wife had grilled ham and cheese and onion rings. I would get either one. Our bill was 19.99

I needed to set up a casual Saturday breakfast meeting, and since on of the fellows was coming from Canton and two of us live in Bloomfield Hills, I decided on L. Georges as a good spot in the middle. I had been here before, and always liked the place, but it has been a few years. I don't think I ever had a meal at L. Georges for a Saturday morning breakfast however. I was amazed. The parking lot was full. The place was packed. Fortunately, one of the party had arrived before the other two and he had grabbed a booth for us. The fact that this place was packed was a very good indication that L. Georges was as good as I had remembered it. And it was. The food was great, the portions were large and the prices were reasonable. The service was really good too. Our coffee cups never were left empty and our wait person paid attention to our needs. She came back several times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we liked what we ordered. We did like everything. I ordered the Greek Omelet which came with diced gyro meat, feta cheese, onions, green peppers and tomato. It was big. It was really big. I am thinking that this was a four egg omelet at the least. It came with home fries and toast. That was one huge omelet and it was prepared very nicely. Others had different breakfast specials and they looked great too. When I had worked in that Farmington Hills nationhood in the past, we used to go to L. Georges for lunch. I have had great sandwiches and salads there and the soups were really nice too. They were thick and flavorful. The place has remained as good as it ever was. Good food, good prices and attentive service.

I took deep sighs before writing this review.... Been to L. georges twice. First time, food was okay. We'd been moving our stuff into our new place and I was hungry. What the heck it was nearby, so we ate there. Fast and friendly service bada bing bada boom. Then... The second time... I am unable to comment on the food because, well hell, we didn't eat. After ordering my cranberry apple juice and finding a watermelon red lipstick stain on the glass promoted me to, I don't know, LEAVE THIS DAMN PLACE. what a turn off! That was by far the most disgusting episode that has ever happened to me! Yuck!

They have seven dollar steak, eggs, hash browns, and toast. The food is really good, the service is the fine. The food is out quickly. Breakfast is served all day. It's not perfect but if you want some cheap good food. This is the place for you.

This used to be our regular breakfast place. Sadly.. The last few visits the food has been below average. Tried again today...AWFUL!!! Big pieces of raw bacon in my omelet. Burned toast. Burned hash browns. A lip stick print on my coffee cup that wasn't mine. The service was still good.. Too bad the food was inedible. I will not return.

Decent food. I've been there about three times. It's inexpensive if not too inspired. I'm surprised it is quite crowded on weekends. It's probably more price than quality.

This place sitting next to the car dealership.... Bob seller? I think. Anyway... I drove pass that place for the last 10 years ( I know I know....whatever you're thinking just stop it......thank you very much) and never occur to me try it until one of my friends told me about it...she said they have this HUGE omelets and Sooo good(I love breakfast food)...So Sunday morning before the photo shoot I decided to give it a try......I got a L George omelet of course...it's not huge BUT its thick I mean VERY thick (an inch?)...definitely it's not your typical omelets...eggs are thin and nicely evenly cooked ( that takes skill) and that SOO much meat in there...it's almost out of proportion...I am not sure I make a right choice and its ALOT for breakfast. ..so I ate half of it (never happen trust me)... oh hash brown is optional . So here you go L George.... few side notes...Waitress are friendly and place are pretty clean..

We went in at 8 pm, hungry as all get out. The waitress that was supposed to wait on us was chatting away with a couple in the booth behind us about her personal life, etc... This went on for about ten minutes. We finally walked out. Unbelievably unprofessional.... We will not be bad. We went to Kerby's Koney Island at Haggerty & 8 Mile, & had wonderful service & delicious food.

I've driven past this place several times and decided to stop in one night for dinner since the power was out in our place. We figured it would be decent food for a good price. And that's pretty much what it is. Standard Coney Island / diner fair. We each had a burger which were frozen, but good enough. The order of the fries (separate) is easily large enough to share. The place was clean and the people friendly. For $12 for two people, we were well fed and had no complaints.
